“Each day, my wife kept asking if I had any takeaways I could summarize. My answer: “I was so blown away; I need time to process.”
—S.S., SIC 2020 attendee
As the United States and the rest of the world are emerging from the damage caused by the COVID lockdowns, it is clear we have a long way to go before anything resembling the “old normal” returns.
In fact, we may never get back to that place.
Instead of looking back, we must focus on moving forward into the “new normal.”
The SIC 2021 will shed light on the myriad questions all of us have:
Taking stock of the economic destruction, how long and difficult will a full recovery be? Which sectors of the US economy will take shorter/longer to recover?
What will the global economy and markets look like in the next one to five years?
Where should you invest now to create the ideal “New Normal Portfolio”?
Mark your calendar and order your SIC 2021 Pass today and don’t miss a minute of what many attendees have called “the best investment conference in the world.”
“I sat on the edge of my seat for almost every presentation. Quality, quality, quality. The platform performed very well.”
—G.B., SIC 2020 attendee
“I feel like I have been hit by a golden snowball.”
—P.L., SIC 2020 attendee

It was amazing. Incredible group of speakers. Loved the variety of areas explored. Loved the different formats... Particularly liked the panel discussions and the heated debate between presenters. Nothing like a little drama to add color to the event. Ed D’Agostino did a great job hosting. John Mauldin and his team did a great job organizing.
—R.R., SIC 2020 attendee
A post-event survey showed that at the SIC 2020, our dynamic panel discussions and fireside chats were hands-down favorites of our audience members.
Here are just a few of them:
As last year, a team of medical experts will be discussing the state of the pandemic at the SIC 2021. Dr. Mike Roizen will be joined by Daniel Culver, DO, chair of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Cleveland Clinic’s main campus. Questions that will be posed and answered include: Will fall bring a resurgence? How effective and long lasting are the vaccines, and will global variant strains of the virus pose a problem? What will “normal” look like in a post-pandemic world? How has the pandemic affected healthcare and medicine?
China is a strategic economic partner to the United States, the world’s largest consumer market, and a technology titan that can’t be underestimated. Unfortunately, it is also a threat to regional political independence and stability, intent on spreading its global influence while diminishing US relevance. China’s businesses are, at best, under the influence of its government, and at worst, tools to spread the CCP’s dominance, control, and intelligence-gathering on a global scale.
Noted China investor Mark Yusko discusses China with geopolitical expert George Friedman, Horizon Advisory Co-Founder Emily de La Bruyère, and long-time Hong Kong resident and investor Louis Gave.
While mainstream media remains focused on the price of Bitcoin, big things are happening with the underlying technology of cryptocurrencies. The decentralized nature of the blockchain will soon disrupt the way transactions are sourced, processed, priced, and accessed, bringing down costs and disrupting the established financial sector.
Mark Yusko hosts a discussion with Santiago Roel Santos of ParaFi Capital and Dan Tapiero, global macro investor and founder of digital private equity firm 10T Holdings.
Special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) are in the spotlight, but they’re not new. Will they take a permanent place alongside IPOs for companies seeking public capital? Mark Yusko will speak with three experts about the key questions that investors should ask when evaluating a SPAC. Joining him will be Gil Ottensoser, Head of SPAC Investment Banking at BTIG; Brady Dougan, founder and CEO of Exos, who has formed a SPAC with Morgan Creek Capital; and Rajiv Shukla, chairman and CEO of Alpha Healthcare Acquisition Corp.
Doug Kass of Seabreeze Partners sits down with two old friends and mentors, Byron Wien, vice chairman of Blackstone Advisory Partners, and Gerald R. Jordan, Jr., founder of Hellman, Jordan.
Jerry’s life is the classic American success story—attending Harvard on a scholarship and going on to be one of the school’s largest donors. Doug calls Jerry Jordan “the best investor of all time.”
One caveat: Please note that all the speakers will give their presentations from a private setting, so there is a small possibility of the occasional technical issue.
Be sure to order your Pass today, and don’t miss the opportunity to watch the SIC 2021 live as it happens.

“I think on the whole, the stock market is not our biggest problem. The biggest problem we have right now is the economy is still weighed down by COVID, and until we get out of that and we get back to a situation where we have closer to full employment, the economy is not really going to be fair to everybody.”
—David Rubenstein, CNBC Squawk Box, Feb. 25, 2021
“[We sold it] because it was up 20 times. I happen to own 1,115,000 shares personally; I haven’t sold a single share, and I don’t expect to for another 10 years.”
—Ron Baron on why his firm sold 1.8 million shares of TSLA; CNBC Squawk Box, Mar. 4, 2021
“We have floated the equity markets here beyond a reasonable price compared to underlying value. Price is what you pay. Value is what you get, and the multiples being paid right now of almost any variable are very difficult to justify. You want to have a Fed that’s accommodative, but at the same time, you don’t want a system that becomes totally dependent on that accommodation.”
—Richard Fisher, interview with Dallas Fed President Robert S. Kaplan, Sep. 21, 2020
“I feel like our portfolios are filled with Amazons, because the seeds for what we are doing now, they were planted in the tech and telecom bubble. And they have been gestating all this time, and now they’re breaking out to these growth trends just like Amazon did.”
—Cathie Wood, Bloomberg interview, Dec. 18, 2020
"I think in many respects, it’s not going to be any different from the traditional IPO market. There are companies there that have done extremely well and gone on to become huge companies; there are companies that have not done well. And I think you will have the same thing in the SPAC environment, but that’s one of the reasons... that the concept of active, professional management is important.”
—Brady Dougan, CNBC Squawk Box, Jan. 26, 2021
