Dear Ed and Louis. I am a huge follower of both of you - thank you for being so gracious with your time and expertise. John Lightfoot from Cape Town, South Africa here. 1. When does China take Taiwan (2027/ 2028) and what are the implications. 2. What is China's real unemployment rate (total) and youth and the implications thereof in general and on stability. 3. What are the implications for China's increasing debt and how is this going impact them over the next ten years (please reference population aging and the demographic cliff from the 1 child policy).

Dear Mr. Gave. What do you think are the implications for the Taiwan situation and the region as a whole by the recent purge of two high ranking chinese military officials?

Dear Mr. Louis Gave, as a long-time follower of Gavekal, through my subscriptions to Mauldin Economics, I have a question for you on the Ukraine vs Russia situation. As our family hosted a young Ukrainian refugee here in Canada, we are very concerned with the survival of Ukraine. My question: Who do you think will outlast the other here in this military confrontation, Ukraine or Russia? I see Russia grinding down the Ukraine while at the same time expending tremendous resources that may destroy the Russian economy. Thank you.

Question: How can USA significantly expand local manufacturing when its wage structure is so obviously inflated and constrained compared to Asian alternatives? Can robotics really overcome the gap? And if robotics is the answer -- does this defeat the underlying objective of growing employment?

Could you please ask Luis Gave a question about the state of the Chinese economy? Specifically, whether there is (still?) overproduction, which is pushing it towards exports and impacting markets and industries, for example, in Europe? Is domestic consumption growing and is the government supporting it? Is corporate and consumer debt a problem? What is the attitude of Chinese leaders towards Europe? How do the Chinese authorities perceive the pilgrimages of European leaders to China and what does he think about their effectiveness? Thank you.

I'd appreciate Louis's thoughts on what he sees as the end game for US on USMCA. Is the agreement going to continue or is it more likely to go down in flames?

Hi Ed - Given Louis’ recent discussions about China’s industrial policy successes and broader geopolitical ambitions, can you ask him for his thoughts about Xi’s recent dismissal of senior military leaders and what it suggests about Xi’s leadership position and China’s broader strategy?
