I have been having an email discussion with Dr. Woody Brock on the rationale of the politics of economics. He sent me this chapter from a paper he did back in 2007, where he argues at the end that we should have a much tougher stance on trade with China. Some of you will want to read the entire piece, but I am posting it for the first section.
