This is the Liscio Report by Philippa Dunne and Doug Henwood. They track sales tax reports and employment. Their work is the best I know. I can't publish their work all the time (as it is rather expensive), so some of you might want to consider a subscription. But we are clearly in a very worrisome trend. They briefly quote a study by Economy.com that I think is based on very flawed academic work, but the rest is right on target.
